The Crown is a smart community pub with great fresh food, where eaters and drinkers alike are looked after with the same friendly and professional service. We re-opened The Crown back in May 2013 after a complete top to bottom refurbishment, during which we enhanced the Georgian heritage of the original building, as well as opening up the stunning Victorian hall at the back of the pub. We regularly add new dishes to our menus as well as daily specials, our drinks line up always has something new and interesting to try and we take great pride in our interiors, so that our guests can relax in beautiful surroundings.
Thank you for your continued loyalty for The Crown and above all our amazing team.
We will be re-opening from Monday 20th July and we can’t wait to welcome you back responsibly from this date. Booking enquiries can be made via our website.
Our team is working hard on the re-opening plans to ensure the safety of our people and our customers, so please follow us on social media for the latest information.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Book a Table
We are open all day from 11 am. Food is served 12pm – 9.30pm every day (10pm Fri & Sat)
We think pubs are really for adults! However well behaved younger children are very welcome seated at a table in the bar up to 7pm and in the restaurant until 7.30pm. We do have high chairs available, a kids menu and baby change facility.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the pub area and on the terrace (not in the restaurant) – please be aware that your pet may be a hazard to unsuspecting customers in a busy pub!
Twickenham Rugby stadium is just over a mile away, the Crown is just perfect for your pre match lunch!
Why not combine your visit with a trip to Ham House via the Hammertons Ferry or a walk along the tow path with a visit to The Orleans Gallery or Marble Hill. Alternatively you could visit the hidden gem just down the road that is Sandycombe Lodge, designed and home to possibly our nations greatest ever landscape artist JMW Turner.
ifootpath have created a lovely circular walk from the pub click here to link to follow the route!
